DirtCookie.com began when Highlands Ranch single mother of three daughters, Karen Brady, read the Associated Press story reporting on the people of Haiti eating dirt cookies in order to survive. Karen's heart began grieving and would not rest.

Brady decided to use the same fundraiser The Pet Food Courier has in place for schools and organizations as a solution to this indescribably horrific means to an end the people of Haiti are experiencing. “I just can’t stand the ache in my heart any longer. I have to do something.” “It’s just beyond words. No one should have knowledge of this and not act on behalf of these people.” I want to shop for my Pet Food and make a difference.
